In addition to the well-known CD and DVD, optical media also include storage formats such as Blu-ray,CD-R, DVD-R and VCD. In this fast moving market it is not only dot sharpness, brilliance and photo-realistic printing results that are called for. In keeping with the motto "Time is money", extremely short start-up times on the printing machines are of the essence.
Especially for this market we have developed a waterless UV offset printing ink and a UV screen printing ink with matching opaque whites. All series offer extremely high yield with equally good opacity and high standardised quality.

• Thanks to extremely fast ink distribution in the inking unit, series 070UV inks permit minimal setup times.

• Printing speeds of up to 145 discs/min.

• Series 970UV/CD was developed for high machine speeds; both inline and offline printing is possible.

• Developed especially for Blue-ray Discs, the BDSI-DW 150 opaque white offers excellent surface smoothness, minimal shrinkage, high reactivity and very good adhesion even at a very high machine speeds of up to approx. 150 pieces/minute.
